When visiting us, please stop and confirm your needs with the Transfer Station
cashier before proceeding to our building.
DO NOT DEPOSIT HAZARDOUS WASTE WITHOUT AN ATTENDANT PRESENT
Days and hours of operation are:
- Tuesdays: 9 a.m. - Noon, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. - Noon, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Service is free to residents.  Small business disposal fees apply for
volumes over 20 gallons.
Please remember to take precautions when handling chemical products to protect yourself and others from harm.
- Up to 20 gallons per day in 5-gallon and smaller containers
- Containers must be sealed with a lid, not leaking and identified (if material type
is known)
- We do not return containers (with the exception of used oil containers)
- We do not accept 55-gallon drums
Residents: Fees apply to the following to assist in the cost of
recycling these items.
- Televisions & computer monitors
- Refrigerators
- Compressed gas cylinders such as propane
- Fluorescent tubes
Universal waste refers to environmentally harmful materials, some of which can be
picked up by the route trucks.
- Small e-waste item such as radios, cell phones, and household batteries should be
bagged or separated from regular refuse to improve visibility for proper
handling.
- Items such as televisions, computer monitors, refrigerators, florescent lights
and tubes and compressed gas containers must be brought
to the HHW building. Placing them with the regular waste stream can cause breakage,
releasing hazardous gases and materials into the environment.
