All Enclosures:
It is suggested that a 6-foot fence or block wall is constructed to surround the area.  Also, a 6-inch height bumper should be placed a minimum of 12 inches from the fence / wall to protect it from the container.
If gates are installed:

Set the gates at least 6 inches above the ground for adequate clearance during snow storms.
Set hinges in the middle of the gate and in the middle or outside of the support so that it is out of the rolling area of the container and make sure they open past 90 degrees.  We prefer a full 180 degrees to help improve access and to avoid damage.
Install a mechanism to lock the door in the open position so that the wind will not close it in the middle of operation, causing damage and / or injury.
Preferred Dimensions:
Single enclosure with the container parallel to solid surface.
Single enclosure with the container perpendicular to solid surface.
Double enclosure with the container parallel to solid surface.
