Winter Service Reminders

Please help us ensure a smooth winter season by adhering to the following guidelines:

• Snow and ice must be removed from all sides, top, and the path to the container. Please clear at least 4 feet around the perimeter.
• If your container is inside an enclosure, the enclosure doors must be able to open completely.
• Be advised that when severe winter conditions are present, there are times that our employees will not be able to move the container by hand.  It is the driver’s discretion to use a tow chain to pull out the container for access.  If this is done, after emptying the container, the driver will leave your container in a safe location on your property and return it to its normal location when the snow and ice have been removed.
• It is understood that these conditions are not always within your control and our drivers will do their best to complete your service as contracted. However, repeated trips due to containers not being available will be subject to service charges. Returning repeatedly increases fuel and time costs as well as related environmental impacts.
• If your container was not emptied due to being inaccessible, please resolve the issue before calling to reschedule.

Make Sure Dumpsters are Secured 

Please be sure that your containers are not overfilled and are always locked/secured when not in use. That means closing the lids and securing the lockbar with a clip or a combination lock. If you use a combo lock, be sure you provide our office with the combo so we can access it for your collection day. Let’s all do our part to be sure our bears don’t have access to garbage or food waste. If there is a mess on your pickup day, you’ll be assessed a cleanup fee.

We have containers available in a variety of sizes ranging from 1 cubic yard to 6 cubic yards and our team is available to help you determine the best size. In addition to trash services, we offer mixed recycling as well as food waste and yard waste.
