South Tahoe Refuse offers a variety of blue dumpsters and blue-lid carts for businesses to recycle. California law AB 341 requires businesses that generate 4 or more cubic yards of waste weekly to recycle. Providing direct recycling opportunities for both employees and business visitors contributes to protecting our beautiful Lake Tahoe environment.

Container Options for On-Site Business Recycling: 

Cardboard drop-off is free for commercial businesses and is a great way to comply with California organic recycling requirements. Drop-off is at the Resource Recovery Facility at 2121 Eloise Ave.
